The dog's-eye view
A Dog's Daytona
If you are a Labrador, Daytona Beach is about as close to heaven as Florida gets. Here is the coast from your dog's point of view.
First, the big news, and it is big if you have paws. For thirty-eight years, dogs were banned from the sand here. That just ended. In December 2025, Daytona opened a 1.7-mile dog beach between Williams Avenue and Seabreeze Boulevard, leashed and during daylight hours. Add the Ormond Beach dog beach and the inlet beaches at Lighthouse Point and Smyrna Dunes, and your Lab finally has the coast back. For a water dog, that is everything.
Then there are the treats. Woof Gang Bakery runs shops in both Daytona and Ormond Beach, turning out fresh, oven-baked dog cookies. To a Lab, a bakery that exists only for dogs is not a store. It is the center of the universe.
And when the beach closes for sea-turtle nesting season, there is Manatee Island Dog Park and others around town. A Lab does not run out of things to do in Daytona.
A Daytona family we helped
A Walking Partner for the Coast
A recently retired veteran in the Daytona area came to us with a simple ask. He wanted a walking partner. Someone to get him out the door and down the beach every morning. A Lab is exactly the right dog for that. Happy to walk all day, and happier to do it at your side.
One honest note that comes with the territory. A walking partner has to stay in shape, and with a Lab that starts at the food bowl, not the beach. Labs will eat themselves round if you let them, and a heavy Lab cannot keep up. Keep your buddy lean and the walks stay easy. Our guide on what to feed a Labrador walks you through it, from puppy to senior.

Why buy from us
A Local Family, an Hour Away
Your Daytona puppy does not come from an out-of-state operation you will never see. It comes from a family an hour up the road, with both parents living in our home and a door open to you. Come meet the setup, or we will bring your pup to the coast. Either way, you know exactly who raised your dog. And here is why Florida is a great state to own a Lab.
